Great building with great amenities. The 27th floor with amenities such as pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room,.. is astonishing. The only thing better than the 27th floor is the front desk staff. All of them remember who you are and are helpful where they can be. Once a month the staff also tries to put on a resident event. Favorites have been wine tasting and a cocktail mixology class. The downside of this place is the lack of a dog area/dog run, even though the building is pet friendly. The... closest dog run is about a 20 minute walk which is inconvenient and impossible in the winter.

Peace of mind for a mostly absent co-lessee
I'm the co-lessee for a student daughter who lives in the apartment most of the time. Amenities inside the security point, like common lounges, pool and gym are convenient as well as safe (compared to having to walk to a commercial gym). CTA practically at the front door is also convenient as is the loop location. Layout and appointments in the apartment itself are elegant and functional. Views are spectacular. When daughter graduates, I'd be tempted to move in!

Nitpicky...
Great venue, however. I keep seeing the pool advertised as "Olympic Size". (To the marketing writer: Olympic sized pools are 50 meters by 25 yards). I'm a swimmer, and it's not even 25 yards. It's about 20 yards, six narrow lanes at most, no lane lines and no flags. Now, I can't really complain because the pool is rarely busy, and I can still lap swim (sort of). But if anyone is a swimmer out there like me, just a heads up.

City Living, the right way!
I've been with this apartment for almost a year now, and I will definitely be renewing. The apartment itself is wonderfully appointed, but more importantly, the amenities make living here so easy.
Concierge is always at the front desk, maintenance is quick to fix the rare issue, and the common areas are amazing. Pool with hot tub, gym, theater room, grills on the sundeck, and lounge area.
Move in was simple, and smooth. Best of all, dogs are allowed!
Noise isn't too bad, considering the... location. It's right in the loop, so if you live on the 3rd (ish) floor, on the west side you'll be right next to the orange and brown lines.
I love the location- 5 minute walk to blue, brown, pink, and orange lines. 20 minute walk to OTC/Union Station. Right in the heart of the theater district, near Daley Plaza, 10 minute walk from Millinium Park and shopping at State or Michigan.
The rent is a little pricey, but it's not bad for the location and amenities. My roommates and I are students/young professionals and we find the price worth the quality of living and the security.

The Best Place to Live
I have lived in Randolph Towers for approximately 1 year. This is a state of the ark facility offering the following amenities: 1)Custom kitchen finishes including stainless steel backsplash, 2)glass accent doors, built-in wine rack, pot rack, pantry and stainless steel hardware, 3)Granite counter-tops and movable granite island with shelving 4)Sexy bathrooms with 36-inch soaking tub, adjustable-height rain shower heads,5) curved shower rod, custom framed mirror and medicine cabinet... 6)Translucent glass walls and sliding translucent glass doors, 7)Walk-In closets, 8)Full-sized Whirlpool stacked washers and dryers, 8)Wood Floors Throughout living space, Berber carpet in bedrooms, 9)Soaring 9 and 18-foot ceilings, 10)Space-saving Pocket doors, 11)Custom closets with single & double hung shelving, wall mounted shoe rack and linen closets, and 12)Energy Efficient Windows 4-pipe individually controlled central heating and cooling with programmable thermostat 24/7/365. There is also other facilities that are open 24 hours a day, such as all year round heated pool, steam room, whirl pool, movie theater, work-out facility, and a 24 hour Concierge to name a few.
The greatest of all is that this facility is in the heart of down town Chicago, allowing access to to unlimited water parks, various shopping facilities, and an array of eating facilities that offer different foods of many cultures. There is never a dull moment! I walk right out of my front door into having the time of life.
