Mount Prospect Greens

Mount Prospect Greens is a serious health hazard. My son was diagnosed with community-acquired pneumonia due to mold exposure in our unit. I’ve had nonstop respiratory issues and rashes. There was visible mold, water damage, and a constant musty odor. I repeatedly told staff that something was wrong with the air quality — and even then, the woman in the office continued to deny anything was wrong. I brought up my breathing concerns to multiple staff members, and nothing was taken seriously. Even... maintenance admitted the ventilation was poor. When I offered the property manager medical proof, she said she didn’t want to see it — but the lawyer will ^. My indoor-only cats also got fleas due to the unsanitary conditions. Do not live here. The amount of money you pay to live here is ridiculous for the amount of stuff they put you through. This place is dirty, you pay for an upgraded apartment where they obviously didn’t take any time doing it. Zero water pressure so don’t plan on enjoying a shower or bath. They have changed management multiple times for things to only get worse. Paint on everything, missing trim, insulation where an AC is suppose to be, mold growing everywhere. This place needs to be shut down. It’s extremely dirty everything from the hallways to the laundry rooms to the parking lot. There are rats in the parking lot, not mice but RATS. Maintenance doesn’t come in a timely manner, they don’t give you a time frame at all. They always want to enter your home when you’re not there. The leasing office is the worst. Do not waste your time living here. It's roach infested. Overpopulated. The apartment complex does not care about your health or wellbeing. The fact they are renting out to people when apartments are falling apart is beyond me. I was fooled by pictures and one showing. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. This has been an experience from hell. I have roaches crawling out of the trim by the walls. The apartment claimed to fix it multiple times but they obviously have done nothing... .

Reminder if you're still thinking of renting here to avoid. They are jacking up prices and not fixing anything. I was without AC for 3 days in the high heat and no one answered. My house got to 90 degrees. On top of that they tow and don't give warning and give absolutely no help when doing so. The office staff is extremely rude and not helpful. Numerous times this year, the office has been randomly closed without announcement or warning. This is particularly annoying because deliveries tend to go straight to the office, and end up locked down there for days at a time as the staff randomly just stops being available. If you need that delivery? Oh well, too bad for you, the staff won’t be unlocking their doors again for 3 days.
