Emerald Pointe Apartments

Our move in was wonderful, not hassles. When we completed our inspection form, any issues we found. Most of the issues were handled right away but we had new carpet and have issues by bathroom door, front entry and pantry door for it not being attached. Still waiting on that to be handled...currently an issue for 13 months.
This is not a gated community and the A/C are window units located in master BR and livingroom which requires regular cleaning. We rarely had the heat on this winter… because our appt was so warm but we attributed it to the people who lived downstairs. Only 1 ceiling fan located above dining room table. Nice office staff. This is a terrible apartment complex. Do Not Rent Here. Since we moved in 18 months ago there have been nothing but issues!!! Bugs!!!! roaches and ants regularly. Pest control has had to come out numerous times and bugs continue to be an issue. The lights in my building have been flickering since we moved in. I have called about his issue several times and informed management. They have done nothing. Yesterday we lost electricity in half the apartment. After several hours they were able to… partially restore it but was told it would take 2 days to get the electrician out. This morning it's out again along with the hot water. When I called management again....i was told they knew nothing about my previous calls...this is an outright lie, as I spoke to the same person just a few days about a loud electronic buzzing sound just prior to a brownout. I have been a resident of Emerald Pointe Apartments for a decade now. Time has flown , I haven't noticed because I have been so comfortable here, enjoying my cozy apartment, the view, scenery from all the large windows and the balcony, and the staff is friendly and always quick to help. I have felt safe and the schools my daughter has gone to are very good schools, she is thriving in activities and developing well. I especially love the walk-in closets and spacious, nice balconies. I have… not had a problem with the water, heat, electrical issues, etc. The staff is interactive and keep you updated on anything going on. They are good at staying on top of things, doing their job, friendly, and they respect your space. This town has much to offer no matter what stage of life you are in. There are nice big parks for nature lovers, mall, restaurants, gyms, community events etc. I am planning on staying in this town and enjoying what it has to offer for myself and my daughter. the staff here is very nice and keep up all requests made very quickly. if something is wrong they fix it right away. it is a very small community so the staff connects more with the residents.
