Highlands at Piper Townhomes

We lived in the Highlands at Piper townhomes for just over 3.5 years. Townhomes are cheaply constructed and poorly maintained.

Upon moving out management did not return any security deposit or get me anything in writing informing me if I owed anything, broke even, or would be getting refund check for my security deposit. It had been more than 30 days and I attempted to reach out to management via email and phone. No return emails. They initially answered the phone when I called but when trying... to call after no one answered and if a voicemail was left no on returned my call. I showed up unannounced and they tried to tell me that they mailed my check and receipt on March 5th. That never arrived. They then said they would "recut" me a check and I could pick it up in person. I accepted this, to be done with this whole situation. The never called me to pick up the check and just mailed it. If they did as they said and mailed the check on March 5th, why did they not have answers for me when I called OR returned any phone calls.
