Overpriced, Not Enough Parking and Poor Billing System

Be prepared to park blocks away from your apartment. They tow tenants more often than any building I have stayed at. After being told parking in a handicap spot with a full lot temporarily would be no problem by the staff, I got towed instantly. Also constantly get reminders to pay on the first, only for them to complete billing a day or two later... so if you actually pay on the first and don't check again expect a late fee.

Ripped off Referal Bonus & Waiting a month for maintenance requests

Website showed $500 for referall bonus which I only got $250 of it even after showing them. I also have 3 maintenance requests put in from things breaking. I haven't had a working garbage disposal/sink in almost a month now! Everything else is fine.

Do you want to live in a construction zone?

Because if you do, look no further! Here at the Lodge of Overland Park you can look forward to the sounds of concrete removal, reversing cherry pickers, dump trucks, you name it! I too enjoy surprise comstruction. It is my favourite passtime.

Management has responded to the needs of its residents during Covid by closing their sauna, weight/yoga room, main pool, billiards table, and clubhouse! I am very glad that no effort has been put into any amenities because I love neglecting my mental and… physical health. Especially during the pandemic!

Thank you Lodge, for always caring about curb appeal more than your community. As a fellow person with eyes and no soul, I appreciate you

Thank you so much for taking time out of your schedule to share your thoughts. The pandemic/COVID has been so stressful for all of us, and our company also struggled to balance resident satisfaction with mandates from local governments to close down… and not allow gatherings, etc., while the science and health data side did the research they needed to figure out how the virus was spreading. We adjusted every facet of our operations and we are slowly trying to get back to normal with all aspects. We sincerely hope that you and your circle are well and safe. In addition, we truly appreciate your patience with any construction and maintenance activities that might be disruptive. We are so lucky to have ownership that reinvests much money back into The Lodge. Hopefully all of the work we are doing will keep the property in good condition for many years to come. Thanks again.

Progress?

This apartment is okay, but don't expect them to have all of the amenities they advertise. Right now they have a cardio room and in the summer they provide one pool with cut hours. Somehow this helps with Covid.

Maintenance is half competent, so that's nice.

Don't rent here if you work remotely because they like to shut off the power during your weekly staff meeting to replace electrical meters. They'll be sure to provide you with no notice before grinding concrete outside your window all day… . But look forward to printed notes attached to your door demanding your personal information (already provided with the application) so that they can go "paperless".

Come on guys, you can do better than this.

Progress not Perfection!

In the last 10 years my husband and I have lived in 5 different apartments. He also works for a development company that owns apartments and he does landscaping. We can tell when things dont seem right, and we can tell when people are trying. We have lived here for 4 years now. There have definitely been some trying times for the complex, but we understand that happens anywhere to anyone. This last summer left a bad taste in a lot of peoples mouths but if you pay attention you will notice the… change in personel, you will notice the work being done, you will notice the care and the compassion the staff really do have for the families that live here I'm so grateful for this place!
