It's not what it used to be I lived in Redwood for several years and really liked it when I first moved in. However, in the past few years, the property has started to deteriorate, which is what prompted me to move.
Positives: Maintenance was always great. They were extremely responsive and could usually fix my issues promptly. The apartment was a good size (1200 sq ft) and the 2-car garage was a plus. We had good neighbors, and the adjoining neighborhood was a great place for daily walks... . It was generally quiet.
Opportunities: There is no full-time property manager onsite and they NEVER answer the phone. It always goes to voicemail first, and responses are slow. Additionally, office staff doesn't seem to communicate with each other, as I've had the same conversation more than once with different staff. Lawn maintenance leaves something to be desired, sprinklers work inconsistently, and trees aren't trimmed. Trash from trash day pick-up was often spread throughout the community.
While this has nothing to do with Redwood Commerce, I want to note that Union Lake Road is treacherous. You take your life into your own hands when trying to turn left into or out of the property.
In summary, it's a great place to stay for a few years, but don't recommend it for long-term living.
