Love everyone who works here!
Stayed at Charter Oaks for two years before I had to relocate for my job and I enjoyed my stay. The staff at Charter Oaks are incredibly sweet and patient with their tenants. I can speak very highly of maintenance. Every time I needed emergency maintenance someone was there within the hour, sometimes in less than thirty minutes. A lot of families live here which is nice. Kids are often seen playing outside but I love that kids have the opportunity to play with others since so many families stay... here. They host family friendly events throughout the year as well!
The apartment buildings have character, and the property is nice. Minimal noise for being close to the highway, my apartment did not back up to the highway however. The apartments are very affordable for the area. The older apartments look outdated, but the updated units look very nice. With an older unit it felt like I was paying a lot after two years in prospective to the updated units.
Only complaints are that the walls are thin, I could hear everything my neighbors were doing and they were not intentionally being loud. Security is a little bit lax. I had one instance where someone was on the property that didn’t live there and shouldn’t have been and was stirring up trouble. Since then I have noticed that security cameras have been installed on the outside of the buildings to ensure tenant safety and appreciate how quickly the apartment took action. Cops will frequent the complex, which ensures an extra level of security.
If you are looking for a place to stay in the area that is affordable and family friendly, I recommend Charter Oaks.
