The managers were always pointing fingers at each other every time I brought up an issue. They literally would say “that’s so and so’s problem they’re not doing their job right” and it ended up being a wild goose chase every time because I’d contact the maintenance team or property manager and they would say that I needed to contact the leasing manager and then the leasing manager would say “oh no that’s their responsibility” and it took forever to get anything resolved if at all. They never... fixed my garbage disposal even though it was broken before I moved in I just had no idea until I tried to use it. I found someone else to fix it after waiting a month because every time I tried to do dishes my sink would fill up with water and I’d have to stop to scoop the water into the other side of the sink. My front door wouldn’t lock so I had to leave my apartment unlocked (there’s only 1 lock on the door) while I was at work for over a week. I contacted them many times by many methods and they always said they would be there the next day but it wasn’t until my mom was over visiting and she interrupted one of the managers while she was showing an apartment to ask her why nothing was done. The management are terrible people and there is no onsite office to go to for help. The lack of communication in their office is a huge problem because they asked me why I never told them whether I planned to continue my lease or submitted a 30 day vacate notice. I did that 60 days ahead of time in both an email and a voicemail. I’m so glad I did both because even after that they tried to charge me for longer than I stayed. I completed my 1 year lease but they continued to email me asking for rent and charging me late fees well after my lease was over. They even sent a warning that I would be evicted if I didn’t pay but I was a month and a half past my lease ending and I gave them all the necessary information well ahead of time. I had to consistently remind them that I was already moved out and I had submitted my notice not just on time but a month early because the way things were going I knew something like this would happen. I also know many of my neighbors had worse issues but I won’t bring them up for fear that they might retaliate against my old neighbors. Not to mention the amount of large spiders that were always in my apartment and there were so many in the windows. They also don’t plow hardly at all in the winter and the stairs get very slippery.
