if you like beautiful old buildings that have been terribly neglected 108 washtenaw is the place for you. if you want to be either too hot or not have heat in some parts of your apartment at all and no way to individually control your heat this is the spot for you. fortunately you’re very near both downtown and depot town and have bus access because you’ll need to make plans last minute when something goes wrong. stop by and the cockroaches will say wassup cuz they’re the best only living thing... suited for the conditions here. also be sure to have a place to do your laundry cuz we have two washers and one dryer only here. The building is infested with roaches, ants, many other pests, so poorly maintained. The heat is either off or nearly 90 degrees in the middle of winter, you don’t get any control. Good luck getting a hold of maintenance or management!

The building will lose heat for days or even over a week at a time in the winter. Laundry units do not work.

If you want to live in an absolute slum, this is the place! Constant issues with heat, either boiling or frigid. After not having heat for an entire month of mid Feb- mid March, I was told by the Building Dept that the whole building would have been condemned. But that is not all. Not enough keys were cut for the mail people so you won't get your mail on time. The place is infested with roaches and ants. Homeless people break in, pass out, urinate inside, and defecate outside of building.
