Cedar Commons Apartments

Hands-down best apartment in the area per sq ft for rent $$. It's spacious and there's lot of storage. I had new carpet and kitchen laminate floors. Bathroom can be updated but I was content with things. If you're one of the unfortunate ones, like me, with the patio facing hwy 77, it's ALWAYS loud.

Management also allowed tenants to smoke in the apartment up until 2018 I believe (when I moved in). You can't smoke on patio or in apt anymore. The person who lived in the apartment before me was... here for 10 years and she was a heavy smoker. Because of this, the apt smells like smoke ALL THE TIME. Patio has a screen so air doesn't ventilate much. I can't leave patio open for more than 5 minutes during the summer because it just smells like smoke! Likewise for the bedroom window. I can't even put a fan on to blow cool air in during the summer. Smells like someone just freshly lit a cig. Winter is fine however, you can't smell the smoke.

Maintenance was well kept, for me at least they always responded/had someone come check within 24-48 hours.

There's a tenant who's responsible for cleaning the apartment in the mornings. He does a wonderful job ensuring building is functional and clean. Read More
