Riverton's Newest Housing Co-Op!

Brook Avenue, located in the Southeast Como neighborhood, features 95 modern units and provides students a unique opportunity to be involved in how the building is run. Like other Riverton Communities, Brook is a… housing Co-op. Co-op housing lets tenants serve as members of the building’s self-governing body.

Brook is only a few blocks from Dinkytown and the UMN campus, and offers in-unit washer/dryers, a large fitness center, a bike café, heated-underground parking, and a large community lounge.

    Go Somewhere Else

    Genuinely awful experience. The building is situated right next to a set of train tracks and it's very loud. I stayed in a one-bedroom and the bedroom area has no windows, meaning if you close the door to avoid the train noises, it's pitch black. Someone's dog defecated in the stairwell and it took four days for it to be taken care of. Package theft was rampant the entire year I was there. I have had several packages slashed or stolen. For a time, people's cars were also being broken into inside… the building's garages. There are many similarly priced apartments in this area, pick a different one.
