Favorite place I've rented in KC
Nornally do not write reviews but after so many bad rental experiences in the past, I have to say I am pretty pleased with living here. The large balcony and free parking are what sold me but the staff over the past few months have been really responsive. Very appreciated.

Great place, great staff!
I recently moved from out of state and I couldn't be happier with my choice! The location right on the Plaza is ideal for convince and fun, and with off street parking included it can't be beat for the area. The staff was very communicative and accommodating as well! I'd recommend The Lakota for anyone looking for a nice walkable mid size community.

Awesome location!
Lakota on Grand has been a great place to live! The new management has stepped up and is always kind and responsive! Plus you can't beat the location or price! Definitely a hidden gem.

Cant Say Enough GREAT Things About It!!!
I can't say enough great things about the Lakota on Grand)- both the property and the management are fantastic- a rare combination. I was looking for an affordable option in the city that met all of her preferences at a reasonable price. I found everything she was looking for at the Lakota!! The management staff worked with me through the whole process and have been nothing short of wonderful. Those of you hunting for apartments in KC or the Plaza know that many options are overpriced and those... that seem affordable usually fall between sketchy and downright dangerous. The Lakota is truly a rare find- a convenient location in the Plaza with quick access to all major highways, surrounded by PLENTY of things to do, not too big or small, great residents, caring management, friendly and trustworthy maintenance staff, well-kept grounds, and the list goes on. The Lakota has my highest recommendation and you will be wise to give this one a look.

Beautiful Property & Location!
The Lakota is a beautiful property! I have lived in KC my whole life and never knew of this hidden gem until I started apartment searching! The Location is perfect for going to the Plaza frequently and for school! I can walk to my classes! The units each get their own balcony and the kitchens are all updated to the modern looks that I love! My roommate and I are so glad we picked Lakota to be our perfect home!
