Gates at Forest Park

Building is in shambles. Doors never work, building hallways smell like cat pee, and trash EVERYWHERE. Constant car break ins in the “secured” off street lot. There are two elevators but only one works (50% of the time). There are tenets that do not make you feel safe living here. The actual units themselves are nice. My only issue with the actual unit is that the oven is rusting and also your utilities run very high in the summer time as the AC sucks in the building.

I lived here while attending grad school at WashU. I couldn't have asked for a better location to campus and the unit itself was perfect. Would definitely recommend to any grad student at one of the surrounding campuses or simply someone who wants to live in the CWE without paying an arm and a leg.

We signed the contract with them at May, they assigned us a 2B2B apartment, and the contract should start at July. We have already paid the booking fee, and full amount of renting fee for the first month in advance. Right now, they moved us to a different apartment with 2B1.5B without our agreement. We took a tour of that apartment and we found it is just next to the elevator so we can hear the beeping. We refused to take the 2B1.5B apartment. And they reassign us a 2B1B! That's even worse!
