How Is This Rating Determined?

Not Worth It

It is right on the UMSL campus, but it's so noisy and loud that no diligent student can study in their apartment. Residents are out of control and new management does nothing to stop it.

Small and outdated

Not worth the price that they are charging for a small room. Unless you have a scholarship that can pay for it, save your money. Only one maintenance man as of 2022 that takes requests an extremely long time. My dishwasher didn’t work when I moved in and created a maintenance request in Aug and wasn’t until February when I had a friend help carry the dishwasher up. They will also bait and switch you. I filled out my lease with the intention of getting a cleaned apartment but the day I was set to... move I went to pick my keys up. Before I could get my keys the RA told me that I have to sign a “as is”, if I would have know I had to take an apartment “as if” without a cleaning and mold on the walls I wouldn’t have taken it. Very upsetting that the new management (lived here during 2016-2018 then 2022) in 2022 are so unprofessional and lazy.

Maintenance and Pool!

I have had a great experience at the meadows. Jack and his maintenance crew are one of my favorite parts of living here. Not only is Jack insanely fast to fix any issues, he is also such a nice guy. He stops by to say hello to my girlfriend and I, and he always gives my dog a treat. He definitely makes the meadows feel more like home. Also, the pool is taken care of so nicely!
