Save yourself and don’t move here

I would not recommend this apartment community. The issues started before move-in with an apartment that was not ready, including unfinished work, damaged walls, and maintenance concerns. Throughout our time here, we experienced repeated unresolved issues, including deteriorating walls, ants, window problems, moisture concerns, and mold-related issues that damaged flooring, furniture, and personal belongings. We also dealt with poor communication, delayed responses, conflicting information,… unpleasant hallway odors, overflowing trash in the mail room, stolen mail/packages, and marijuana odors entering from neighboring units. The biggest frustration was not just the problems themselves, but the lack of consistent communication and solutions despite documented maintenance requests, photos, emails, and vendor visits. The location may be convenient, but the quality of the apartments, upkeep, and management response did not match what residents are paying. Save yourself and/or family from the emotional, mental and financial stress of moving here.

The concerns described in your review—including apartment readiness,… maintenance, moisture concerns, communication, community upkeep, odors, and package or mail concerns—are important to us. We take reports involving potential water intrusion or moisture seriously and work with our maintenance teams and qualified vendors to investigate and address issues when they are reported.

We also recognize that effective communication is an important part of resolving any maintenance or community concern. Our expectation is that residents receive timely communication, clear information, and appropriate follow-through throughout the process.

Because this review was posted anonymously, we are unable to identify the apartment, work orders, or specific circumstances referenced and therefore cannot appropriately investigate the concerns described. We would welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly so we can better understand your experience, review the documented history, and determine whether any outstanding matters require attention.

Poor Management

There are certain things that I do like about these apartments, such as the location. Everything is nearby. What I don't like is that there seems to be a lack of management. I don't know what is going on, but there has been a temp in the office, so nothing much as been getting done. There is so much I could say about how poorly these apartments are managed. All I can say is that renewing my lease here is out of the question.

Extreme let down

The leasing center shows an apartment in the leasing center which is very nice. However, there is another building that is 15 years older that they don’t show or mention in your lease. That building is on another street so you have to walk to get to where the amenities are. The leasing center people didn’t even know where that building was and I had to ask maintenance on the day we moved in. The building is old and has water damage in the cabinets, hardwood floors are all stained, no garbage… disposal, walls are paper thin. We’ve also lived here for 2 weeks and don’t have our key fob to get into the building. The leasing office is extremely unorganized and we have been given different answers to questions. They are never there and close the office randomly.I would highly recommend looking somewhere else.

Nice area and very quiet community.

I really liked to rent at Kenton Place apts. I lived there for two years and enjoyed ; it is very clean and quiet, very good location , close to expressways and nice stores. the complex has pretty green areas and big parking space. The office manager is very kind and helpful and if there is something in the apartments that needs to be fixed the maintenance people respond quickly . I meet nice and kind people ; I would rented again ; Loved the location.

bugs, mold, falling ceilings... don’t move here

We have been living here for 7 months and we are SO GLAD we only signed a 7 month lease. There is a large amount of silverfish bugs everywhere, constant growing mold on the windows no matter how much bleach or other cleaners you use, trashy renters, poor staff, the porch ceiling is basically falling off we have to sweep the deck most of the time to get it off.
