This was once a place I was happy to call home, but unfortunately, that has changed. Poor communication and delays in resolving maintenance issues have made my experience disappointing. When I raised concerns about my dishwasher, I was told that since it washes dishes, it is performing its “basic” function and does not need to be changed. I found that response frustrating because I did not ask for only the basic function of the appliance. If an appliance is provided with additional features,… residents should be able to expect those features to work properly as well. I hope management takes residents’ concerns more seriously and improves both communication and the quality of service provided.

I enjoy living in the community as it offers a lot of amenities. It is safe and peaceful. I find the transfer process (to another unit) unnecessary. I think the community utilities are a little much considering what you already pay. I still however, recommend Cortland as the customer service and fairly quick responses are a nice change considering other companies/community management.

The apartment meets expectations along with the community itself. There's not a lot that can be done about out of pocket kids and the overall community is relatively tidy. There is a lack of response when it comes to maintenance request is disappointing however the maintenance staff themselves are always friendly. The office staff is friendly as well. My complaint is a lack of follow trough. The complex is noting spectacular. Just a place to live.
