Beautiful on paper

I agree with the others that have toured this location that the property is without a doubt beautiful. However, it stops there speaking from a current resident. The beautiful amenity spaces come with rules that are stricter than any property I have ever lived in. The lease agreement doesn’t state amenity hours but they are subject to be created at anytime by management. One of the main things that drew me to the Eastern was going up to the roof top to watch the sunrise with a cup of coffee - but... no you have to wait until 7am and all amenity spaces promptly close at 10pm. Trust me, if I was complaining because it was a loud event or quite a few people causing a ruckus that one be one thing, but you will be removed simply if you are reading a book. I would like to see them amend these rules to match other apartment communities with “quiet hours” in these spaces and use the 24/7 concierge and 100 cameras monitoring the spaces to remove folks that are causing a ruckus (which I still have not experienced). The pool is great but no food and beverages are allowed so don’t think about bringing chips and guacamole to a cabana. Also, the noise in the hallways is incredible and the hallways have not been cleaned since I moved in. If someone closes their door on your floor, your door will open a bit and make a loud slamming noise which is extremely annoying and happens often. Also, the events hosted by the apartment are sub-par. I have a friend that loves in another building and I have attended their events. The Eastern hosts three per month and two are fitness related unlike the weekly social gatherings that other apartment communities enjoy that encourage socializing and bonding not just staying in shape. At this point in time, I do not recommend the Eastern.
