    DO NOT MOVE HERE!

    Do not move here. I was originally drawn to View at Lakeland Apartments because of the lake and the high ceilings, but neither is worth dealing with how poorly this property is run.

    I have lived here for almost a year, and we have already been through three management changes. Each one has somehow been worse than the last. The maintenance team is absolutely horrible, the worst maintenance experience I have ever had. They regularly close maintenance requests without doing any of the work.    … Management does not hold them accountable, so maintenance essentially picks and chooses what they feel like doing. I have to loop management into every single maintenance request just to make sure the work actually gets done. Residents should not have to chase people down for basic maintenance.

    The property itself is poorly managed. We supposedly have two pools, but one of them has never been open the entire time I have lived here. Communication is terrible, and most of the people in the front office have bad attitudes and do not work well with residents.

    The only exception is Scarlett. This review does not reflect her in any way. She is the only person I try to speak with when I have an issue because she is helpful and actually seems to care about residents’ concerns.

    Unfortunately, one helpful employee cannot make up for everything else. Maintenance alone is enough to make me never want to live here again. Save yourself the frustration and move somewhere else.
