Do not rent here
I would strongly encourage anyone, especially females, considering this apartment complex to do their research before signing a lease.
We were told our unit was smoke-free, but it quickly became obvious that the previous tenant had been smoking inside for years. The lingering smoke residue has been significant and has even triggered asthma flare-ups. This was never disclosed to us before move-in, but later confirmed by maintenance that the previous tenant smoked for years inside and that we... should have smelt it prior to all the paint and new carpets.
We also experienced repeated issues with a neighboring tenant from a different building who behaved aggressively, including banging on our door, verbally threatening, watching when we would leave to confront us, and creating many hostile situations. These incidents were documented and reported to the leasing office multiple times, but there was little meaningful action taken to address the situation. Their solution was for us to park further away from our apartment. As a female who's husband is gone for work, did not feel safe being alone at the apartment due to these situations, which ultimately caused us to leave before our lease was done and pay two rents due to the apartment not letting us out of our lease early. They did not deem it necessary since this person was "not violent". When someone is paying rent, they deserve to feel peace and safety at the place they are living.
Overall, the most disappointing part has been the lack of response and accountability from management. Tenants deserve transparency about the condition of their unit and a safe living environment, and unfortunately that has not been our experience here.

Hi Saylor, thank you for sharing your feedback. We sincerely regret that your experience at our community did not meet your expectations, and we take your concerns regarding both the condition of your home and your personal comfort very seriously... .
Regarding the smoke odor, we aim for total transparency. Because the previous home was a carriage unit, certain odors can unfortunately remain hidden until the unit is vacated. Please know that we took extensive measures to remediate the unit before your arrival, including installing new carpeting and padding, as well as utilizing ozone treatments. We apologize that these efforts did not fully resolve the issue to your satisfaction.
In terms of the neighbor dispute, please understand that while we take all reports of resident conflict seriously, we are legally bound by privacy policies that prevent us from disclosing specific corrective actions taken against other residents. Our management team did intervene to address the situation; however, we understand that you did not feel the resolution provided the level of comfort you required.
While we do offer an Early Lease Termination (ELT) option for those who need to move unexpectedly, we apply our lease policies consistently to all residents.
We wish you the very best in your new home and appreciate the time you took to provide this feedback, as it helps us improve our communication and services.
