Love living here

The staff are so super helpful and friendly. They go above and beyond for anything you need, and if they don't have the answer, they will get it for you. If you are looking for an apartment to rent, The Crossings at Plainsboro should be your new rental.

Mixed Experience After 7 Years — Would Not Recommend Overall

Lived here 7 years. Location is the only strong point—right by the Lenape Trail for great walks. The air conditioning is unreliable and noisy, especially in upper units. Every summer we had outages and got no support from management. Staff can be friendly, but the tone is often condescending and inflexible. They require you to purchase overpriced renters insurance through a preferred vendor. We were charged an extra day’s rent after moving out because the office was closed and we didn’t know… about the key drop-off (not clearly mentioned anywhere). After years of on-time rent, we were treated with threats and zero understanding. Would not recommend.

Greedy landlords

While the apartment complex is decent the price point is outrageous. In 3 short years my rent increased by almost $700. How is that legal? The amenities are also not great. Gym is small and the pool has very obnoxious rules. In June it’s only open weekends. It’s closed by Labor Day and it opens from 12-8 and that’s if your lucky to get lifeguards because it’s also common to go and not be able to go in the pool because no life guard on duty.You have to get out of the pool for a 15 min EVERY hour… on the hour and they close from 4-5 so what are you really enjoying? But they have no problem charging top dollar. All these apartment companies are greedy and everyone should move and watch these people go bankrupt which is exactly what they deserve

In addition there is a national life-guard shortage, which impacts the hours of operation for all pool companies. NJ laws also requires an outside Pool Contractor so unfortunately we are restricted to the hours they are available, along with the regulations regarding breaks. Nicely located, but huge problem with AC

These apartment are nicely located near Lenape Trail and Plainsboro Plaza, but they have a huge problem with AC. The AC units are old, weak, and don't cool properly, especially if it's a 2nd floor apartment.

We've been staying here for several years and our AC stopped working at least 10 times during hot summer days. And sometimes they were unable to fix it for more than 3-5 days, so that we had to move out and stay at a hotel.

Amazing place

I recently relocated to the Crossings, and I am thoroughly satisfied with my choice to rent here. The apartment boasts cleanliness, ample space, and proper upkeep, and the surrounding community is peaceful and secure. What truly distinguishes this community, however, is the exceptional service I have received. The maintenance staff is both efficient and professional. The leasing agent, Bryan, ensured a seamless moving-in process by being knowledgeable, approachable, and always available to… assist with any inquiries. If you are searching for an apartment, I highly recommend renting here, and request Bryan as your leasing agent.
