Sky Management

Let me start by listing the pros:
Quiet neighborhood
The complex is within walking distance to two parks that are easily accessible
Close to a major thoroughfare (Juan Tabo Blvd.) in town (full of shops, stores, etc.) and easily accessible to I-40
Cheaper rent than the last place I lived
I don't have to pay ALL utilities (like the last place I lived that charged all utilities, plus trash and sewer)
Most of the neighbors keep to themselves, and some are friendly
Pet-friendly
Somewhat roomy...
townhomes
Great storage space under stairs
Nice utility room with washer/dryer hook-up
The moutain view from the balcony is beautiful
Security deposit and move-in rate is great and saves you money.
Some of the staff is nice. Just show that you are about business and be a clean and good tenant, and they pretty much remain nice to you.

Now, the cons:
Some of the neighbors are a bit strange...that's all I'm going to say about it.
Maintenance help is shoddy at best. When you call the number for a maintenance issue, you may get a response. You may not. When you don't, you literally have to go to the office and practically demand service.
The place is crawling with bugs (roaches, ants and spiders), and if you have a neighbor who isn't very clean, the bugs leave their townhome when they move out and invade YOUR space in quick succession and full force.
Speaking of rodents, Every morning, you can hear pigeons through your air vents, because they meet on the roof of the building. This is annoying.
My version of clean is not everyone else's version of clean. I literally had to scrub the shower doors and tub/shower itself BEFORE I would step foot in it, because it was caked with soap scum and grime from the previous tenants, and the "housekeepers" just wiped over it -- and everything else in the townhome -- to get it ready for me. If you choose to live here, just make sure you record (photos AND a handwritten list that you turn in and keep a copy for your records)everything wrong with the place before getting too settled, so that they don't try to stiff you on the security deposit when you eventually move out.

So, this place has a lot going for it; it also has a lot going against it. What you are willing to sacrifice for an affordable, quiet place to live is a decision that is up to you.
