I lived in Avalon Melville for 8 months, it was fine… when it was time to move I did a walk through with the manager, Chris. Everything was immaculate, he stated I would be getting my full security deposit returned. I called 2 weeks later looking for my deposit. Very happy living here. The grounds are beautiful, the pool is great, the neighbors are very friendly, service/staff is very good, awesome job clearing away snow/ice in a timely matter.

I love my apartment! Although it's a big change coming from a house, the apartment has everything I need for my new life. It's daunting to have to look for a new place for me and my kids after a divorce but this place takes some of the stress out of it. I've got a community pool, basketballl, gym, racket all court that can used for badminton/volley ball and don't have to maintain none of it. As well as any maintenance within the apartment. Don't have to worry about leaky faucets or snow... removal. The service request system is simple to use and online payment is great. The kitchen and baths need updating though. I would recommend getting an apartment with garage or at least close to parking lot. I have a private location in the back but it's a hassle with getting the groceries in. Overall, very happy! The building and facility layouts are excellent. Ap artments seem to be comfortable.We generally do not like an arrangement where rent is quoted at a certain price but then there are multiple additional charges. We understand that utilities are usually extra but trash? outdoor parking? We might rent at Avalon as a last resort
