    Disappointing Application Experience

    My fiancé and I recently applied for an apartment at Avalon Yonkers because we were very excited to start a new chapter and fresh beginning there. We both have stable jobs and good income, so we felt confident about meeting the requirements and expected the application process to be smooth.

    Unfortunately, we were disappointed after receiving an email stating that my fiancé had a discrepancy with a past address. I found this concerning, especially since we were genuinely looking forward to    … becoming part of the community.

    The application process can already be stressful, and situations like this make it even more frustrating when applicants are not given clear explanations or an opportunity to clarify the issue. Better communication and transparency during the process would make a big difference for applicants.

    We would still welcome the opportunity to speak with management and clarify the situation if possible.
