Pleasant Valley Estates

These are one bedroom apartments, located on, I guess you'd classify as a secondary road. Location is good for access to Route 44 & the Taconic Parkway. Two floor buildings, with upper apartment having balcony & lower, a patio. Each apartment is equipped with a washer & dryer(my fave selling point!). This is a small community in a semi-rural area, so it is quiet. Another feature, nice in the summer, is central vac. Excellent onsite maintenance.

Pleasant Valley Estates is a nice place to live. It is in a country setting with a private porch. I didn’t have to carry my laundry to the laundry mat because the washer and dryer were in the apartment. My job relocated me out of state, if I get moved back this is where I would want to live again.

I met with the owner to view an apartment about 2 weeks ago. When I stepped out of my car we walked
to a first floor apartment and before he opened the door I got a sickening smell of urine. It was inside the apartment but mostly outside. The apartment was old and nasty. Paint peeling on the door, old mis-matched appliances. The carpeting should have been replaced years ago. This complex needs a complete overhaul. No wonder the price was so low.
