Great place

I have been living here for a couple of years, and it’s been an amazing experience, any issues the management team fix it right away, professionals and a mix of students in the neighborhood, but quiet and very clean. Swimming pool for the summer and gym in the facility very helpful. Love coming home.

I advise AVOIDING this place

I strongly recommend against moving here.
I asked the staff for a few extra days to thoroughly clean the apartment before moving out. I explicitly asked if any additional fees would be associated with the extension or moving out. The staff assured me that I would only be billed for the extra days, and when I asked if there was anything else to be aware of, they said no.
However, about a week later, I received a bill for over $2,000. Apparently, because I didn’t vacate the apartment on time, my… lease was automatically extended by 60 days. Ultimately, I had to pay $2,000 for two months I didn’t even live in the apartment.
Additionally, I noticed a shift in the staff's attitude after I mentioned my military service. They became increasingly uncooperative—ignoring calls and behaving in a resistant manner.
Key concerns:

Before you move here, make sure you fully understand their policies and get everything in writing.

We are sorry that you had an unpleasant experience, however due to Fair Housing we must uphold all the terms of the lease that you signed. You were not moved out on your lease end date, which defaults you to a month-to-month status. Any cleaning… charges that were charged to you are supported by pictures that can be sent to you.

Mouse lovers dream

Clarendon Heights has a serious mice problem that maintenance refuses to fix properly. They only offer temporary solutions, so I’ve ended up paying for pest control myself. Management needs to step up.

Thank you for being a long-time resident. We apologize for the pest control issues that you have experienced. In reviewing your units’ files, we found that Pest Control has tried to address the problems only to be prevented, due to tenant… non-compliance. They were unable to do what was required as there was too much clutter in key areas. It is essential to communicate back to the office as well when they reach out to communicate scheduled appointments and give you the prep information for pest control. When you asked the office for glue traps, they did not have any on hand. You chose to go purchase some. Our Maintenance group takes pride in acting quickly to resolve all resident work orders. Please contact the office to further discuss the issue.

Amazing Place to live with amazing staff and neighbors

I lived at Clarendon Heights for almost 2 years. The only reason I left was for a job promotion in a new state. I was heart broken to leave this community. The leasing office staff was amazing, super helpful, and always there if I needed anything. The maintenance staff also were super helpful. They always cleaned up after themselves when they did a work order. Highly recommend Clarendon Heights to anyone looking.

Very poor no security

No help after apartment was broken into and car was stolen , would not share camera footage. Tried to say I set my self up to be robbed so they wouldn’t let me change units They tried to force me out of the apartment rather then let us change units. The gym is horrible and the pool is small and water is dirty. It only looks good on paper.
