Great For Residents
I lived at both the Plaza and Flats 1.
Plaza - I lived above a restaurant that was quite loud and moved to flats 1 within 6 months with the help of the leasing office. The benefit of the plaza was storage space.
Flats 1 - I am a single woman and resident. I lived on a ground floor apartment facing the parking lot and never felt uncomfortable, even when I was keeping weird hours. My building was quiet and I was not woken up by the other residents. There is a high school across the street so... there was some band practice but not enough that disturbed me. Having in unit washer/dryer was clutch!. You can only have Cincinnati bell cable but some people had satellites. Trash is out in a dumpster in the parking lot which is a small walk. I almost always had a parking spot. The gate breaks sometimes and then more guests park in the lot but it’s ok. Packages are delivered to a mailbox inside your building and I never had a package go missing. I had access to the Flats 1 and 2 gyms, the pool, and outside bbq grills. These had treadmills, elliptical, bikes, and free weights. This building has wonderful support staff. My work orders were addressed promptly and the whole maintenance team were always so wonderful and everything was so clean.
UC is about a 10-15 minute drive to get to and park depending on the time of day you go. VA around 10 minutes. I always felt safe and supported. Just up Woodburn there are several bars where classmates would meet. There is also a couple salons in the area where you can make online appointments. 10 minutes up Madison are several shopping centers where I got all my groceries, take out, oil changes. You have easy access to I 71 and can pass through Xavier University campus for I 75 access. Downtown, Over the Rhine, Covington are all within 10-15 of a drive. Mt. Adams is also nearby with the lovely Eden Park and art museum.

Great apartments only if one is a heavy sleeper
These apartments are in a great location, cheap uber to the city and close to I-71. Maintenance is really good about fixing things in a timely manner. The apartments are up to date, with in-unit laundry, the clubhouse just got updated and it has high ceilings which I loved and the walls are soundproof could never hear the neighbors next to me just the individuals next floor above me. The only bad thing is sometimes parking but the overflow lot is across the street and street parking all around.... The real negative I can see is the constant every 15 minutes from 6am-10pm the church across the street church bell is ringing. Another downfall is the firehouse is right there too so if it's not the church bell waking you up its the sirens from the Ambulances, Police cars, or fire trucks. Luckily I sleep like a rock but my significant other does not so it was a struggle for them.
