00/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

It was cool when I first moved in. Signed a 17 month lease … a year into my lease I realized my ceiling was leaking water and started to grow mold. Reported to the leasing and maintenance. Took them forever to do something about to the point where the mold was growing everywhere in my apartment and in my personal items and decor + clothes. They claimed they never could figure out where to the point where I reported it to insurance and they still didn’t do anything about it. Then they Changed... management and it’s been terrible ever since. They never answer the phone. They charged $30 for trash fee but the trash don’t get picked up everyday. I just do not recommend moving here at all!!

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT LIVE HERE

Everything was fine when I first moved in… nice apartment in a relatively quiet community. After a few months is when everything changed. A pipe in the HVAC system broke and started leaking water into the closet. The water caused mold to grow and ruin anything we had stored in the closet as well as causing obvious health problems.

When we first noticed the mold we put in a maintenance request in hopes of stopping the issue early. After two weeks of waiting for any contact at all about that...
request I decided to send emails to the leasing office and the management company as well as submitting another request. At this point the problem had gotten so bad that the apartment was uninhabitable and we had to move some of our stuff out to live somewhere else. Finally, after almost a month, a maintenance worker came and spray painted over the mold (which does nothing). The maintenance ticket was marked complete with no other communication whatsoever. After we saw how they “fixed” the mold we had the entire apartment tested and, guess what, mold in the air in every single room. Needless to say the apartment is STILL uninhabitable and I’m paying rent for a place I haven’t been able to stay in for months. I just want out of my lease now because this is ridiculous.

Terrible management and terrible communication. HORRIBLE experience, would recommend living in your parents basement before here.

Crime/Noise Complaints/Lack of Security

I’ve lived here for just over 6 months and in that time, I have:

- had HUNDREDS of dollars worth of packages stolen (4 times in total)

-a friend who stayed the night had their Tires stolen off their car on the street (the leasing office laughed when I told them it was my party who it happened to)

-my neighbor has filed multiple noise complaints on me just for doing simple things because you can hear EVERYTHING (I’m a woman who lives alone with no pets, and I can’t even blame the neighbor...
with how poorly it is built- I can hear music and conversations from upstairs like they’re in my kitchen)

There is claim that we have upped our security due to more car break-ins occurring, but all i have seen so far is an increase in theft, security issues, and unwelcomed guests in what is supposed to be a “luxury living area”.

The location is great and it really is a nice area and relatively affordable for the downtown scene, but what is our money going towards if not making us feel comfortable in our own homes?

High crime area

The new unit I moved into has been a mess since since last summer. Cars are always broken into (management’s excuse was that “crime has no zip code”), my packages have been stolen so now I have to send it to a friend’s place, there are cop cars around due to some sort of crime all the time, I’ve seen drunk drivers smash through road signs. It’s ridiculous that they keep increasing community fees and valet trash fees. I do not feel safe in this apartment.
