$300+ Electric Bills, Management Ignored Issue
I lived at this apartment for almost 2 years and paid electric bills that were upwards of $300+ and the management/maintenance refused to address it. I had the wattage meter at that apartment replaced by the electric company to ensure it wasn't giving misreadings (I had to call and have this arranged, Brookwood helped in no way). I also waited to leave this review until I moved out of the apartment and into a new one to ensure one of my electronic devices weren't causing the high electric bill.... To no surprise at all, my electric bill in this apartment (approx the same size and same appliances as the previous apartment) is around $40. Im still with FirstEnergy as well, so the issue is 100% an appliance in the apartment. My guess is the VERY old AC in the apartment, which went out twice while I lived there for multiple days at a time before being fixed.
I will consider removing the review once I have been shown that whatever issue is causing the high electric bill has been fixed.
