Nolan Reserve

I truly enjoyed living in this complex for the first part of my tenancy. The location is a major highlight—it's right next to a park with plenty of walking paths, which has been perfect for walks with my son. It is also within 10 minutes of any store you'll need. The surrounding neighborhood feels safe, family-friendly, and pleasantly quiet overall.

That said, my experience has been significantly impacted by excessive noise from the upstairs unit 211, which has made apartment living much more… challenging than expected. The residents above me in unit 211 stomp throughout the day and late into the evening/night which is heard through the carpeted floor.

I've attempted to address this directly with the neighbors and through management complaints, but unfortunately, the issue persists without resolution.

I understand that some level of noise is inevitable in multi-family buildings. In fact, that's why I chose a first-floor unit—to be considerate of those below us, as my toddler naturally runs and plays actively. When sleeping, I close the door and I use my sons sound machine which still isn't enough to cover up the stomping.

However, the constant and prolonged noise from above has been disruptive and unreasonable, affecting my family's rest and daily life. Living here is actually great when Unit 211 isn't home.

Overall, the complex has great potential with its location and amenities, but prospective tenants—especially those with young children or sensitive to noise—should be aware that soundproofing between floors is limited.

UPDATE: Management did reach out and said they spoke to the above unit. The last 2 weeks or so have been nice and quiet in the later evening hours. Fingers crossed the peacefulness continues for the long haul.

UPDATE #2: Last tenants moved and it was peaceful while they were gone. New tenants moved in last week and they are worse than the last ones. They work what seems like a 2nd shift schedule. They come home and continue to stomp around from 10pm to 3am waking myself and my son multiple times during the night. I've documented this with the complex multiple times and it has done nothing to solve the issue. Thankfully, with the stomping, I know when they are sleeping...
