Oklahoma Christian Apartments

After much consideration, my siblings and I felt that we should write this review. We would recommend that you do NOT have your vulnerable loved one move to Oklahoma Christian Apartments.

About a year ago, we made the decision to move our then 88-year-old mother to this facility. At first it was as advertised – friendly people, newly remodeled apartments, with ample space(s) for her to live. But it wasn't long before it began to feel more like a reform school (and this was long before Covid-19... hit). The formerly friendly staff became outwardly rude to her; infractions were routinely handed out for the most minor, previously unknown, offense. As you can imagine, it was very upsetting to her to be treated in this manner. Our mother’s goal (and ours) in moving there was for her to live her remaining years around others of her generation in peace and tranquility. We hated for her to move, it is traumatic for someone of her age to have to pack everything up and seek a new home – even if it’s with family. But after many months of ongoing - unresolved - issues, we felt we were left with no alternative. I strongly encourage you to not move yourself or a loved one to this facility. Read More
