Meadow Ridge Apartments

I strongly caution anyone considering moving into Meadow Ridge Apartments. What we’ve experienced here since moving in has been a relentless pattern of neglect, delay, and outright disregard for basic tenant rights and safety.

From May 12 to June 28, 2025, our washer and dryer remained broken nearly seven weeks with no resolution. Multiple work orders were ignored, and only after persistent emails and escalating pressure did anything finally get addressed.

Things took a dangerous turn on June… 20, when our air conditioning completely failed during the peak of summer heat. A window unit was installed the next day as a temporary fix—one the maintenance worker later admitted was over 10 years old and scheduled to be discarded. Despite that, the central A/C was not fixed until June 28, leaving us to endure unlivable conditions for over a week.(as you will see in the photos they closed this work order but sent an email to my husband while on deployment saying they opened a new one that was never opened) I ultimately threw out the window unit myself, thinking I was helping (based on the handyman’s comment that it would be tossed anyway), only to be charged for its replacement,( even though they had mentioned replacing them due to age) a clear act of retaliation for simply demanding livable conditions.

Perhaps most alarming, a hole in the shower ceiling collapsed while I was showering—yes, literally fell on me. When we raised concerns, we were told this was “normal” and “not unsafe.” Only after repeated complaints and threats did they finally act. This is not only unprofessional, it’s unacceptable and dangerous.

The maintenance worker himself revealed that many tenants face the same issues, and that their HVAC technician is based in Texas, which means repairs are slow and unreliable. Even basic maintenance, like fixing the stove (which still only has two working burners), has been ignored for months.

We’ve had open work orders since day one, and nearly every issue has taken weeks—or even months—to address. On top of that, management insists we crate our service dog for maintenance access, even after I explained this wasn’t possible with my husband on deployment. Their response? Indifference.
