Easy move in process, same day showing. I'm excited for the roof top pool. I haven't moved in yet but the kitchen was spacious and walk in closet. Seems like a friendly chill environment.

Quiera was pleasant and more than helpful within the entire process. The apartment was easy to get into and it was an easy move. The other tenants were welcoming

Fast and friendly staff. Beautiful apartments. I was able to get in quickly and love the space im in. Fantastic amenities and a great view. Highly recommend.

I resided in the Modera Akoya apartment complex from Feb 2023 to Feb 2024, and here's my honest review.

During my initial tour, I was meant to view a vacant 1-bedroom unit, but there was a mix-up with keys, leaving me waiting for 15 minutes. This hiccup was just the start of my concerns at Modera Akoya.

Starting with the positives, the complex's location is convenient with easy access to various amenities and freeway routes. The facility itself is well-maintained, boasting outstanding... amenities such as a top-notch gym and scenic rooftop views.

However, the 1-bedroom unit I stayed in had its drawbacks, including a dark interior and an awkward layout. The absence of overhead lights in the living room and limited natural light were notable downsides. Despite this, the unit featured stainless steel appliances and a few convenient features like soft-close cabinets and a water filter attached to the fridge.

Moving on to the negatives, residents often abused the facilities, leading to trash and other waste being left in common areas. Verbal and physical altercations were not uncommon, contributing to a feeling of unease. Additionally, during summer, the rooftop became a hotspot for disruptive parties, and amenities were sometimes closed without explanation.

Security was a major concern, highlighted by multiple break-ins at the storage lockers. Despite reporting incidents, management's response was inadequate, leaving residents uninformed about security risks. The lack of security presence despite signs claiming otherwise further exacerbated safety concerns.

My attempts to seek compensation for stolen items were met with dismissive responses from management, and promises to improve security were not fulfilled. The passive-aggressive and unprofessional behavior from management, coupled with security lapses and disruptive resident behavior, made it a regrettable living situation.
