I’ve lived in a lot of apartment buildings over the years, and The Sutton is genuinely in a category of its own. What sets this place apart isn’t just the beautiful waterfront location, the thoughtfully designed mid-century modern interiors, or the spotless amenities, it’s the staff.

The team here truly cares about the day-to-day experience of the residents in a way I’ve honestly never experienced before. Haley and Diana, along with the rest of the staff, go far beyond what you would normally... expect from property management. They are attentive, professional, warm, and consistently present. Whether it’s handling a maintenance issue immediately, making sure the building runs flawlessly, or simply greeting residents and their pets with kindness every day, they create an atmosphere that feels much more like a real community than a typical apartment building.

What also makes The Sutton special is the experience-driven approach to living here. They regularly organize events and partnerships with local businesses that make residents actually feel connected to Portland. Wine tastings, happy hours, museum experiences, local collaborations, and other thoughtful perks that elevate everyday life here beyond simply “having an apartment.”

The building itself is beautiful, meticulously maintained, and incredibly comfortable to live in, but the culture the staff has created is what really makes this place exceptional. The Sutton is truly an incredible community. I have lived here for almost two years now, and I love seeing my neighbors at community events. The experience team is amazing and always has a solution whenever something comes up. The maintenance team is consistently on top of work orders, and the residents here are just wonderful. It is truly the best place to live in the Pearl.

I’ve had a great experience living here, and a big part of that is because of the amazing staff. Sarah, Hayde, and Diana truly go above and beyond to make this place feel like home. They’re always friendly, professional, and quick to help with anything that comes up. You can tell they genuinely care about the residents and take pride in what they do.
