nothing but problems

I have lived here for many years without many issues until westover companies purchased caln east. For starters they had live electric cables running from building to building lying out on the ground for months. Then they send an exterminator to check all units which is fine until I find that they just gave him the keys and turned him loose to roam the apartments unsupervised. Now they removed the brown overhang on the side of the building along with the rain gutters so now everytime it rains i… get water in my bedroom window area.Now that was done months ago and i brought it to their attention. All i got was "we are sorry and are working on it (the usual runaround). Needless to say months later and still no rain gutters and still water leaks when it rains. Stay away from westover companies. Hate to see what they have in store next.

Overall Pretty Decent

I have lived here for a year and although I am about to move out, I really did enjoy living here. The location is super convenient as there is a shopping center 2 mins away, it's right next to downtown Downingtown, and there's a short drive to Exton and West Chester as well.
The apartments are pretty spacious and cheaper compared to most in the area. Noise isn't really a big issue. The community is pretty diverse, but friendly. There is a pool, but I've never used it. I never had a need for… maintenance, so I can't comment on that either.
My only complaints are that the apartment doesn't get much natural light... I lived on the first floor and only had the sliding glass doors to the porch and a small window in the bedroom. As a result, there can be quite a few bugs in the apartment... mostly just spiders and some centipedes though. They also don't allow pets, which is pretty upsetting.
I am moving to live with some roommates, but would consider living here again.
