disappointing situation
I had a very disappointing experience with this apartment management. After notifying them that I would not be continuing my lease, instead of handling things fairly, they began adding extra charges. What makes this worse is that one of the charges was simply because my notice was considered “late” by just 2 days—right after a long weekend when I was out.
If this was such a strict policy, a clear letter or reminder should have been placed on my door well before the 60-day notice deadline.... Relying only on emails, which can easily get misplaced among other priorities, feels unreasonable.
Charging tenants unfairly for small delays feels like taking advantage rather than providing fair service. I strongly suggest future residents be very cautious and double-check everything with this management, as their approach to communication and billing is far from tenant-friendly.
