Gladstone Towers Apartments

Stayed for two years but did not want to renew. Management does not care and will not resolve your issues. I had submitted several inquiries and even written notices but they did not address my concerns. Mail will be stolen or lost since the packages are left outside. They also have issues with mice and bugs. Maintenance requests are generally done on time. Appliances offered are old. I had to run washer/dryer multiple times; will pay more in utilities. If your unit has new appliances, your rent… is probably higher. I don't recommend this place for families especially if you have kids. In all my years of renting I have never encountered such blatant disrespect and disregard for tenants by the maintenance workers. They enter your apartment whenever they want without notice and they take whatever they want. Recently my wife and I had a very valuable item stolen from our apartment by one of the maintenance guys here. So my advice to everyone living here is to lock your doors, get an alarm system and keep an eye on everything. I would not ever recommend these apartments to anyone… due to the above stated reasons. I am going on my 4th year at Gladstone Towers. The first few years were good. No problems, maintenance orders were resolved quickly, everything seemed perfect. But in the last two years, things have gone really downhill. Now it takes 2 or 3 calls for an order to be completed, the parking lot is always crowded, and in the last 2 years, there has been an unresolved mouse infestation. Every winter, the mice move in, and there is no end in sight until the weather cleans up. Half-effort treatments… are given, nothing other than a few traps that you can buy yourself. Most dwellers would tell you definitively that the mice live in the walls, ceilings, and even the air vents.

This is one of the few apartment complexes in the area that provides your own W/D, Dishwasher, and Central Air/Heat. All these amenities sound great, and were a primary reason why I moved in to begin with. However until they resolve the pest issue, and provide a higher level of customer service to current renters, I would advise others steer clear. Read More
