FIRST, let's clear up the lies in the ad. There IS NO laundry facility. The machines were sporadically working for weeks, and they got so many complaints they CLOSED it and locked the door with NO NOTICE TO RESIDENTS! The maintenance is shoddy. the rent bannister was virtually destroyed before a threat of possible lawsuits pressured them to repair it. Rent receipts appear 2-3 weeks LATE IF they come at all! They charge exorbitant fees for all electronic rent payments EXCEPT VENMO. When you call... the management office, your calls usually take 1-2 weeks to get returned if at all. I've lived here for at least 16 years and watched it go down hill year by year. The rent was cheap and I loved the location for travel to work. They've slowly been moving in some people that I'm sure are on medication, need to be, or aren't taking theirs. They hang on the front steps all day in the way of people coming in and out of the building. Some even have the nerve to ask your visitors for money or cigarettes!!! The elevator goes out too often and can be out for a week...I've had water... issues with the unoccupied apartment above me for years and it finally came to a head this year. It was raining in my bedroom!!! The maintenance man tries, but the problems are too many for him to handle. They have him doing remodeling on empty apartments instead of getting him help for the occupied ones. I guess my apartment will be remodeled next because I'm out of this mental Institution!!!
