Regent Terrace

Let me start out by saying I’ve lived at Regent Terrace for 6years. Four of those years in a one bedroom that rarely had any issue. I transferred to a two bedroom apartment and that’s when everything fell apart. In my second month of renting the two bedroom, it came to my attention that the hvac closet was extremely water damaged and had been before I moved in. The water damage was extensive enough that there was mold and the wall was literally falling apart. In addition to that, there was a... growing roach infestation due to the damage(found by exterminators in hvac closet). I asked for the damage to be repaired. It was instead covered up with a piece of drywall, spackle, and white spray paint. Property management and maintenance deny any accountability. They also claim to know nothing of the damage and have no plans to fix it outside of the cover up. On top of these facts there are multiple occurrences where things have not been remedied. Such as the heating systems that break every few months, the growing piles of trash in the back of the building, the faulty wiring that causes the smoke alarms to go off randomly, etc. Read More
