The Morris Apartments

My husband (then boyfriend) and I moved into the Morris right after college. We were in love with the location and the price for the location. We had a unit on the top floor and had large south facing windows that let in a ton of light. Our bills were always super affordable and whenever there was a problem, the maintenance team took care of it right away. We lived there for 4 years and during that time had the refrigerator and toilet replaced due to malfunctions, both within the day of the... issue occurring. It's also super convenient to have the mailboxes inside, as it is a busy street in Philadelphia, so we never had to worry about our packages going missing. All of our neighbors were friendly, and many were willing to cat-sit for us, as needed. After living in this apartment building for years, I would only ever rent an apartment that was managed by PMG. The whole staff is friendly and the maintenance is spot on. Things are fixed super fast. The common areas are maintained & just recently updated and redone.
Huge plus living in the city - the mailboxes in the lobby make it safe & easy to get packages delivered with no hassles.

The Morris, located at 311 S 13th St. in Gayborhood, Philadelphia provides good affordable housing. The building is old, but well maintained. The neighbors are nice, friendly and easy-going. The building is cat-friendly, with no dogs allowed. The management is good and takes care of maintenance regularly.

The neighborhood had gotten a lot better with the shutting down of the Parker hotel.

If you are in an apartment facing the road, you might get irked by the traffic noise during the day, but... that is something that is given on a building on a decently busy street.

Overall, I would recommend the building to apartment looker who are looking for decent, affordable housing in Center City, Philadelphia. Read More
