Walnut Hill Square Apartments

I have been staying with Walnut Hill Square for almost two years, and have enjoyed my stay overall. The price is a bit high compared to apartment buildings nearby, but is reasonable given what's offered.

Pros: The building is supposed to be newly built, with relatively modern Kitchen, washer and dryer in unit, and most importantly it has a great location. The apartment manager Paul has been very helpful throughout and can always help should there be any issue with anything from maintenance to... parking.

Cons: The one thing that I find extremely frustrating is package delivery for residents in the building. The building has a secure gate with some passcode that's not available to the residents. Drivers from UPS, FedEx, or USPS who have been to the building probably know the passcode, but new drivers may fail to deliver any packages because they don't know how to get in. This can be an issue for those who have lots of deliveries especially from FedEx based on my experience. I do hope that Paul will find a way to deal with the package delivery. In addition, the building doesn't classify trash, i.e. there's no dedicated bins for recyclables. In my apartment, several of the kitchen cabinets can't be reached easily, which annoys me a bit. Overall some designs in this building seem a bit frustrating (purple lights, black fridges, blue walls, etc.), but perhaps tolerable if you do not care too much about these minor things. Read More
