Club at North Hills Apartment Homes

I have really enjoyed the Club. The community is cute and apartments are a good size. The people in the office are very helpful, and overall very nice to interact with. The people around are also all very nice. I recommend it!

I’m not really someone to leave negative reviews or complain about things like this really ever, but the experience we’ve had in these apartments has been awful and I would recommend anyone think twice before living here. I have lived in these apartments for nearly two years, and it is my opinion that management will do anything to save money or make money off of the tenants rather than respecting them and having their well being as even a minor concern. On multiple occasions, pipe leaks which... have had nothing to do with us has affected our living space, and on one occasion caused us significant property damage. When raising this issue, they did not seem to care nor would they do anything about it. We’ve had other issues with our apartment on a regular basis as well, and while they’ve been on most occasions fixed in a timely manner, some have gone months without repair or even have been dismissed as “a project for next summer”, leaving us to live with a cracked and eroded patio that we were not warned about or shown prior to move in and a mailbox door missing for months. Regardless, it is my opinion that the frequency alone of these issues is a major concern.

Honestly, I could look past all of that and just accept that we lived in a poorly built, mediocre apartment building if not for how we were treated upon move out. Our security deposit was deducted several hundred dollars for issues that were either pre-existing, we were told were not issues when we asked, or were not our fault and were blemishes to the outside of the building. We decided to ask management about this, describing each issue in detail compared to our lease, expecting at least some sort of discussion or reasoning as to why we were charged. Instead, their response was short, provided little explanation, and then they sent us the exact same images of the apartment that they’d already provided. It was as if they didn’t even read what we asked them. I then tried to call the property manager who sent the response, and was told that “he’d get back to me”, which of course he never did. My opinion is that the goal here was to deduct from our security deposit and avoid explaining why, or at least that’s what it seems like to me.

In short, it is my opinion that management views their tenants as money making opportunities, with little care or respect for the tenants themselves or the place in which they live.

There is no star (0 star) to give for this apartment and maintenance.

We had very bad experience in the move in itself.

Be ready to clean the apartment your self. We can see problems everywhere in the apartment doors doesn't work properly, windows are not proper.

Even after talking to lease office they will just ask what can we do... not talking about the solution and issues supposed to be fixed before move in not after the move in.

I don't find this is the perfect place to live in.


As we... see lot of rats indications in apartment we asked them to put the rat traps and one rat died in closed/locked area.

I have called to lease office 2 times to cleanup and no-one has showed-up.

How does this have 5 stars? This is a lie. Read the reviews here or anywhere. This place is downright terrible. I've rented at about a half dozen places over the years and this is by far the worst. Everything is outdated, and usually broken in some way, the carpeting is the cheapest you can buy, mold on the ceiling is painted over, this place nickel and dimes you to death, don't even think about getting a deposit back, even if you leave the apartment in better shape than when you arrived. They... also add service charges to pay bills, and force you to pay $80 for internet (and supposedly other amenities which they don't break down, but it's no doubt things you get free at other apartments with the rent) You get to pay only through their "nice" little online portal that is clunky and outdated.

In addition, the management here is terrible. Rude and condescending. You'll pay top dollar for a dismal apartment and the pleasure of being talked down to constantly. I live on a ground floor apartment. 8 leaks in 3 years requiring major disruption. "Ammenities" is basically a swimming pool and getting charged 80$ a month for mandatory wifi charges. Ridiculously old buildings for this price.
