Great on a budget.
Love that you only have to worry about electric. It makes it easy to budget. Maintenance is very responsive. The ability to pay online and text the management simplifies everything. No major complaints. Parking is sometimes a hassle because all the lots are on one side of the property. But there's not much they can do about that.

Great Place to Live
We really like living here. The apartments are nice, plenty of parking, landscaping is kept up with, sidewalks are always salted in the winter, landlord and maintenance are very responsive/helpful. It's peaceful here too. We especially like the text message system that sends alerts to tenants when necessary. We've lived here for just over a year and we have no complaints at all. Highly recommend this apartment complex!

Happy to call this place home
I've lived at Maiden Square for 7 years. Although it has it's ups and downs, I'm overall happy with my experience. I wish the owners would put more money into the outside, but the inside of your apartment is nice and well taken care of.

HORRIBLE!!!
If you like mold, leaky windows during the fall and winter months, cheaply made window blinds that fall apart easily, a landlord who leaves voicemails of yelling and crying on your phone, broken washers & dryers, etc then this is the place for you :) Enjoy!

This is an unfortunate case of he said, she said. This tenant lived at our property for several years and in multiple apartments (by their own choice). We were always willing to work with them through their self caused damage to the apartments. Their... windows did SWEAT, not leak, in the winter months. This was discussed with them multiple times as they would frequently keep their apartment in the upper 70s and run humidifiers in every room. When management attempted to discuss why this caused sweating and therefore mildew (that the tenant refused to clean), we were met with resistance. We even had their windows replaced, but the issue obviously continued to happen. In the end, the tenants left by choice in the middle of the lease. We gave them back their full deposit even though there was tenant damage. We have had two tenants in this apartment since with no issues. And every time I respond to their review with our side of the story, they delete their review and re-post!

Peaceful housing
Apartments at Maiden Square apartments are very peaceful. I've lived here for over a year and haven't had any problems. Minutes from the park and downtown Washington.
