Stonebrook Apartments

They charged me a $600 non refundable admin fee, had two and a half weeks to get my unit ready for my kids and I, never let me walk the unit because they knew nothing in there worked. I mean nothing. The apartment was dirty. The a/c heat doesn't work. There is no hot water. There were roaches coming out from front to back. The master bathroom sink was leaking terribly onto the floor. The hallway toilet didn't work and the left a toilet seat assembly on the bathroom counter. They installed carpet... the night of me moving so when I actually signed my lease and paid the unit had no carpet. The management is horrible lazy and liars. It's so bad I will be contacting code enforcement. I'm practically renting space not a suitable living environment based on code. The refrigerator does not work. There is missing baseboards which leaves walls exposed at the bottom and roaches just go and leave as they please. They want the money but don't want to fix anything. Read More

I have been staying in these apartments for almost 2 years and they still haven’t came in fixed my air and now my bedroom floor is soak and then I have flies coming in my apartment don’t know where they coming from. I have been calling and still no help. I have paid my rent every month and still no help. If y’all looking for a place to stay keep looking unless this is your last choice.

I love the location, within reach of several shopping malls and services. The Manager Queen is very friendly and the staff are prompt to action. However, I have a couple of observations that management/owner need to look into:
1. The outer fences are broke on two sides making it vulnerable to Security and if not mended will break all the fences down.
2. The swimming pool and fitness center, which are part of the attractions are closed. Will be glad if opened.
3. The entrance gate required... urgent repairs to wade off intrusion by unwanted people.

Stonebrook Apartments is a decent living area in the East side of Memphis. There is a pool, business area, weight room, & laundry room. Might not be the best, but its ALOT better than the worst. Its in a decent area surrounded by many convenience stores & fast food restaurants, so your'e never too far from anything. There are town homes & apartments, but best of all the apartments aren't too big & is a good place to live if you're just ready to get out in and move until you can do a little bit... better.
