Fantastic Staff

I've had nothing but fantastic experiences from the staff here, especially Lisa at the front office. I love running into her because she seems to memorize everyone in the property and can give a fantastic conversation, while always being there to help with just about any problem. It's well maintained, plenty of areas for Dogs including a dog park, clean amenities, and the perfect distance from parks grocery stores. Two years and more than happy to make it a third!

Hello, thank you for taking the time out of your day to provide your feedback!

Good place to stay!

I was referred here by a friend that also lives in the complex, he had moved in just after the new management had started upgrades. Lisa and Ritz are a great pair of lovey ladies who do their best to work with you while doing a thousand tours a day for new people. My AC went out, on the second day after I moved in, at about 9pm. I had a worker service my AC outage requested within 2 hours, which he ended up not being able to fix it and I received a new AC unit the next day.

I was worried about...
all the prior ratings, but you never know if people are being dramatic or realistic in their reviews.
I have been very pleased with the new management and recommend anyone to stay here.

AWFUL AND VERY SHADY

This place is AWFUL. It was previously known as the monterone of canyon creek. the new management is just as incompetent and shady as the last management. They try to charge you for any and every little problem. we we were told if we did not take baby toys off our balcony they would come in our home & remove them themselves & we would be charged. They tried to move us into a apartment that had dog urine in the carpet & mold on all the air vents. They also will automatically renew your lease... without even notifying you. (shady) They continuously lost our paperwork and try to make us re-pay fees that they lost . When it came time to give us our keys for our new house they gave us the run around for two weeks straight even though we still had to pay rent for both places. The front office staff is awful. they never know what they are talking about or what they’re supposed to be doing. It’s like they were hired simply because they’re pretty. It takes months to get maintenance and they never know what they’re supposed to be doing either. I would advise no one to move here or deal with this shady apartment complex.

Bait and switch

The only plus is the maintenance guys are good at what they do. Office staff was tolerable until we moved in. I guess once the lease is signed they do what they want.

Rule enforcement is selective, as is evidenced by the assistant mgr Chris walking his dog behind bldg 27 and not cleaning up after. This is unsanitary and presents a health risk to other dogs.

Hot tub was inoperable for several months. It's only a gated community about 1/2 the time, as the gates only works part time. Theater is...
missing equipment. We tried to rent it for a company, but used another venue.

If Chris is "looking for your packages", wait until someone else comes to the desk. He will not seriously look for packages.

Due to the EXTREMELY narrow driveways, it is difficult getting out in a large vehicle. This was further compounded by a vehicle parked dead center in a fire zone. The office would not respond and to this day there is no answer to our calls/messages. We ended up having to call the Sheriff's office for assistance. An APD rep arrived and banged on the door for some time to rouse the people. Fortunately, there was no fire, as this was certainly a hazard.

Pro Tip for pool, check first. If there is a scum line, it is not clean. If it smells over-chlorinated, come back later. The first is a health hazard, the second will dry your skin up and may cause allergic reactions.

Krista is a secretary or something. For every question you ask, she has to ask someone else. Several months and you would expect she would pick up something. Her snarky attitude is from ignorance, so it is no big deal. She's just not someone you can get even the smallest bit of help from. Overall, the office staff is bothered by your appearance.

Sometimes the dumpster is "just gone" for a day or two with no word or alternate waste removal plan. The valet trash is spotty at best. They also impose a 3 bag limit or they "fine you" $25. We never went over 3, but it's dirty poker. I've seen several long time residents moving out this year, citing the rapid decline of service and facilities.
