If I could give this place zero stars I would. I lived at this apartment for two years and from the start there were non-stop issues, including the elevator not working for 9 months of my original 12 month lease. I was told the elevator was a luxury , which is not true, I pay the over priced rent, and expect the elevator to work. Things continued to get worse with the change of property management. The upkeep around the complex noticably decreased , the gate was broken for extended periods in...
which you could not come and go without a clicker, so package delivery was a nightmare. The air-conditioning in our unit consistently was not working. Any form of communication with property management was slow and they acted like the tenants were an inconvenience. Getting someone to answer a phone call was near impossible and with office hours from 830-530, good luck getting in contact if you have a full time in person job, as they consistently arrive after 830. They also had a pattern of giving less then 48 hour notice, about maintenance that inconvenience the tenant, such as receiving an email on a Wednesday that all cars need to be out of the lot by 8am the next day or they are getting towed. Or when the send an email on Thursday stating they will be entering your apartment and need access to all rooms, so you work from home that day and then they never show up then you get another email on Monday saying they are actually coming on Tuesday.

Gate code not working for 2 months

The gate code has not been functional for 2 months, the hallway lights were gone for a week and now the web portal doesn't accept payment. The management is completely incompetent and living here is a everyday struggle now. PLEASE STAY AWAY. The older positive reviews no longer represent the current state.

Put us in a totally different kind of unit than they showed us

I live here now, and there are some good things about the complex, BUT, they placed us in an ADA accessible unit after showing us a standard unit and saying we'd get one just like it. None of the paperwork says our unit would be ADA accessible. There are real differences that are super annoying (tiny kitchen sink, lost cabinet space, low countertops, etc.). After going back and forth with them trying to get them to make it right, the best they've done is offer covered parking to my roommate and... I, which costs them nothing (they have unused spaces), and doesn't solve our problem. Get in writing what kind of unit you are getting or they can do this to you too!!! The way they treated me seems like this may be the way the leasing office gets rid of the ADA units, which is just wrong.

Unhelpful management - broken promises

Elevator has been out of service for over FOUR MONTHS. We live on the third floor. Management has been completely dismissive of this as an issue. LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!

New management is terrible

Management changed in March 2017 and since then everything has changed to worse. This property management company (Lincoln Property Company) has a clear low-cost way of doing things, which contrasts with the professionalism that we'd been used to and for which we pay for. Quality in maintenance has plummet and is definitely not a primary issue for them, starting by the main gate that hasn't been working for several months. Since it is open 24/7, it has become common to see ppl you don't know... walking around in the complex, but this insecurity problem doesn't seem to preocupy management, whose answer is always the same: "we're working on it". Pool is always green and dirty, club house and bbq area are never cleaned, there is never coffee available and the A/C's have stopped blowing cold air because of the poor maintenance of the external condenser units. They are even cutting back on garden watering. Yes, it is that bad and there are no signs of improvement whatsoever.

Instead of replying to this comment with another polite excuse to justify your incompetence, try to make an assessment of how much you actually need to spend to manage this complex properly. This might help to put things into perspective, since you are disrespecting all the residents with your cheap management.
