When you move to Texas you move here because you have heard about Southern Hospitality. I lived in Texas 9 years before I found just that. And I found it at Windsor Lantana Hills. My neighbors have been helping me rehabilitate a rescue dog who WAS (now much better) afraid of his own shadow. But the staff here also stepped in. Head of Maintenance (Will) knows every dog by name, and will even help you set up playdates. The entire staff is invested in you having a great experience. I generally thoroughly enjoy living at Windsor Lantana, it is a beautiful and well maintained community. I am especially impressed by Michael Sabatini, the leading consultant. He has been very attentive to all of our needs, and has bent over backwards to help out with specific items. Recently I was traveling out of state and urgently needed access to an item I had left in my apartment and Michael went way out of his way to help coordinate me gaining access to that item. 5 stars to him and 5... stars to the community experience in general! We do not have any running water at this time and the entire community's maintenace is backed up. Very poor infrastructure. Not sure if this community was built in the 60s or 70s but it certainly does not feel as modern as Windsor makes it seem. We had the same issue last year and the year before with pipes bursting. Now our kids cannot shower or use the restroom and we have to leave to go live at our parents house for a few days. Certainly will not be renewing here. I had water damage from the freeze earlier this year.

What I find extremely unacceptable is that at no point in the repair process, did I have any idea when any work was going to be done. When I reached out to make sure the subcontractors would be able to perform their work unhindered, I was told that the work was isolated to the bedroom. Imagine my surprise when every single piece of furniture is moved and in random spots, my bed inaccessible, my toilet inaccessible, and my shower inaccessible... .

I was not warned that this was going to happen so I didn't put anything away or secure anything in areas other than my bedroom, so I can't even really begin assessing what has been moved. What I can tell you is that I feel violated knowing that a bunch of subcontractors went through all my personal items due to a lack of communication from your team. I can also tell you that I am upset to see that my sensitive electronics are coated in a layer of dust and scattered about in such a way that I can't tell if anything is missing or damaged. I can tell you that I have a few plants that have been knocked over or damaged in some way. Your inclination here might be to say they are just plants, but some of these are expensive orchids that have been in my care for years. So in short, I am very upset.

The apartments and amenities are nice. Quiet place to relax. There is no hot water in the bathroom sinks and the fixtures are very old looking which is surprising compared to the marketing of this property.
