The apartment itself is fine, and the leasing office team has been kind.
My rating is based on my experience with the maintenance team.
The dishwasher that came with the unit has an exposed, rusted rack. I brought this to the office’s attention, and they submitted a work order on my behalf. I requested a repair or replacement. Instead, maintenance applied a cleaning spray to the affected areas, which did not resolve the issue. The dishwasher rack is still covered in rust because the metal is... exposed.
I submitted a work order on May 15 to address the gaps under my front door. On May 19, maintenance closed the work order without anyone visiting the unit. I had the leasing office reinstate the request. It ultimately took 10 working days, along with two follow-up requests, before someone came out to replace the door sweep.
There have also been two leaks in the ceiling. During the first leak, maintenance came to inspect the area. Before they left, I asked whether they would be returning, and they said yes. My partner took time off work to be present when maintenance returned. However, maintenance never came back. Instead of communicating a timeline with us, my partner unnecessarily took time off work and waited for a visit that never occurred.
The community is advertised as a gated community, but the gate is consistently left open throughout the day and overnight.
