Knightsgate Apartments

Wow! Have I had an awful time here. Knightsgate is now run by BHHS, which is ok. When I first moved here I was given an upgrade to a two bedroom, which was then rescinded when I actually got into my apartment because they forgot and the person I had talked to no longer worked there. THEN, when I got here we had a water leak in my unit. They didn't know where the leak was so they had to remove drywall in my laundry room and the laundry rooms of the units below me. The company they hired then... proceeded to leave insulation all over my apartment, which management denied occurring and downplayed despite the fact that my APARTMENT HAD HANDFULS OF INSULATION ALL OVER IT, and I sent pictures! THEN, it took six weeks to get the holes in the wall fixed. After that, I had another water leak and the six week process repeated. So, to summarize THAT, on a one year lease I've spent three months with holes in my walls. There's currently another water leak in my building, it's been there a month, who knows what's going on with it. I also had people Enter my apartment at the end of that six week period to fix the drywall without management telling me they were coming. I understand that I said they didn't need to contact me to enter for the original water leak...but six weeks later deserves some prior notice in my opinion In addition, my floor boards are not glued down (?), and my a/c has broken twice while I was here. Once, in December, my heat clicked on and then did not turn off. It was during the holidays so I had left, and when I came back my apartment was 110 degrees. I had to completely shut off my heat and go without heat until it was fixed, which management almost forgot to do the next work day! When it was in the 30s. The second time the a/c had a fuse break and they got it fixed the next day thankfully. Minor issue but- the cabinets in the kitchen are also very very SHORT.
