Concord at Allendale Apartments

I recently moved in two weeks ago and I have a lot of positives. The office staff and maintenance are great they do well with communicating. Ms. Diane is amazing and makes this place feel like your new home and is super helpful and transparent throughout the whole process.
I did have some issues with my apartments upon moving in and all the issues were fixed within a weeks notice and since then it’s been smooth sailing. In my opinion it’s rare to come across an apartment community like this in... the Houston area.
The community is quiet and clean. It’s very easy to walk around and get some steps in and feel safe here.

I renewed my lease for the 4th time at Concord at Allendale. The process was quick and easy. All the documents were prepared correctly and after a quick review I was able to sign and submit.

The worst apartment I have ever lived in!!!

First moved in and was told the apartment was cleaned but that was wrong. The unit had an ant and flea infestation on top of dirty floors. Had to prove that there was ants and fleas everywhere because they didn't believe me nor took it as a important concern in my opinion. No urgency at all! Took 2 months for them to fix the problem where I had to throw away my own funiture and items during the process.

Next problem is the AC/heat in the unit is... horrible. Always breaks when you need it. Constantly putting in work orders to fix the AC because no cool air is coming through the vents or no actually air blowing. During the winter, its the same thing with the heat.

No overall urgency to fix issues. I am charged extra in my rent to have an electric dead bolt. Upon move-in the current one on the door was not working. Asked for a replacement and didn't receive my replacement until 7 months in my lease but my rent wasn't reduced due to the lack of the product the entire time. Microwave had an issue upon move-in and wasnt fixed until 3 months in my lease.

Current problem before my lease ends is I have been without AC in my unit for a week now. All I was given was a window AC unit for my bedroom that only cools my bedroom while the rest of my unit is 85 degrees.

My experience has been excellent I would definitely recommend feels like home.

The community is family friendly and everyone seems to respect each other. Of late, we have a few that believe party's all night long is their right but management has been on top of those abusing the quiet time. I love the landscaping but believe a few trees should be removed to allow even a few more parking spots.
