The experience living here staff is friendly and amazing. The main thing I would say is the hall ways need attention. The carpet needs to be cleaned if it is not going to be replaced till later. Otherwise everything else is great here.

I generally like living here. My apartment is spacious and has nice natural light. The only drawbacks are that the elevators and entrance gates frequently break and are out of service for long periods of time. Common areas (like garage and trash chute) also get pretty dirty sometimes.

The main advantage of High Point Apartments Uptown is its location and the pleasant surroundings. The management team is generally receptive and willing to listen to residents’ concerns.

However, there are several significant drawbacks. The nearest elevator has been out of service for almost four months, and the other nearby elevator does not stop at the basement level where I park my car. The corridor carpets are often dirty and appear to be cleaned only once a year. Additionally, building...
access doors are frequently broken, as are the community gates.

Another ongoing issue is the lack of community consideration from some residents. There are neighbors who regularly play loud music for hours in the very early morning, showing little regard for others living in the community.

Despite these ongoing issues, the rent is very high and does not align with what one would expect from a so-called “luxury” community. Furthermore, lease renewal notices are sent 90 days in advance, offering a reduced rent only if the lease is renewed within that 90-day window. If renewed with less than 60 days’ notice, the rent reverts to the “regular” (higher) rate, which feels more like pressure than an incentive.
